July 2008 - Loudoun 96 Red is pleased to welcome Brendon, Sam and Marco to the team for the 2008-2009 season.

June 2008 - The team completed a strong spring season, finishing 7-1-2 and in second place in NCSL Division 2.

March 2008 - The Loudoun 96 Red tuned up for the spring season start by winning the Jefferson Cup Superior Division tournament. They started slowly, losing the first game to the South Charlotte Red but came back with two victories over the BRYC Eagles and the SOCA Express to earn a birth in the finals. After an evenly played finals match and two overtime periods against the LMVSA Patriots, the team won the championship after a penalty kick shootout.

September 2007 - As a final tune-up for the start of the NCSL season, the LS 96 Red participated in the OBGC Capital Cup tournament Labor Day weekend. The competition was tough and the Red improved their level of play with each game.   Preliminary round games resulted in victories over BRYC Eagles White and Baltimore Bay Casa Mia, and a tie with Bethesda Springbok. The semi-finals ended with a hard fought victory over the Baltimore Bay Juventus on penalty kicks, leading to a finals match against the talented MSC Magic Green. The Red jumped out in front in the first half and never let up, winning the championship 3-0.

August 2007 - The LS 96 Red kicked off the fall season by participating in the August Cup tournament. The Red played well, finishing undefeated but failing to advance to the finals based on tie breakers.

June 2007- The LS '96 Red have completed tryouts for the fall team and are pleased to welcome Wilmer and Clay to the team.

June 2007- Loudoun Soccer has announced a name change for all of the teams in the LS Club. Going forward, the Academy Red will be named "Loudoun Soccer '96 Red.

May 2007- Loudoun Soccer announced the dates for tryouts for the rising U11 boys team. Tryout dates are May 30, June 1 & 4th. See the Schedule page or www.lysa.net for details.

April 2007 - The Academy Red started the spring season off fast, winning their first six games of the NCSL season.

March 2007 - The Academy Red participated in the MSC March Madness tournament as a primer for the spring season. The competition was tough and the Academy Red played well winning two games and losing a single game to the overall tournament champion, MSC Magic Green.

March 2007- Due to inclement weather, the Jefferson Cup was cancelled for the Academy Red.

March 2007 - The Academy Red finish up the winter WAFL futsal season by winning the end of season tournament with a 4-0 record, a nice way to close out the winter off-season. Now it's time to move the games back outside.

March 2007 - The Academy Red will play in the Jefferson Cup tournament in Richmond, VA, March 17-18. The Jefferson Cup is ranked as the #3 tournament for youth boys in the U.S. Also look for the Academy Red at the MSI March Madness tournament March 24-25 in Maryland.

January 2007 - The Academy Red are playing futsal and indoor soccer during the off-season.

November 2006 - The MCSA Fall Classic provided the venue to bring closure to a very successful fall season. The tough tournament competition served as a good guage to measure the development of the team since the beginning of the season. Based on the results, the development has been significant. The Academy Red finished in second place behind the top ranked LMVS Patriots after a tightly fought 3-2 loss to the Patriots. Other tournament games included wins against the CYA United, FASA Hotspurs Red and the PWSI Courage White. The team now takes a brief break before the start of off-season training, Futsal league games in December and the indoor soccer league in January.

November 2006 - The fall NCSL season concluded for Academy Red on November 5th with a victory over the CYA Barracudas. This brought the Academy Red's NCSL season record to 8-1 with a hotly contested 2-1 loss to the Stafford Strikers back in September as the only blemish on the team's record.

September 2006 - The Academy Red started off the season in fine form beating the Chantilly Knights 4-0 and PWSI Courage White 6-2 on opening weekend.

August 2006 - The Academy Red competed in the Dulles National Soccer Tournament Premier Division. While lacking a full roster, the team competed well, losing the first game to the Thunder Soccer Rockets 2-0. The second game against the always tough LMVSA resulted in a loss by a score of 3-1 to the ultimate tournament champs. In the consolation round the Academy Red played the Herndon Boca Juniors to a 2-2 draw.

August 2006 - The Academy Red are the 2006 SYA Cardinal Cup U10 Boys Elite Division Champions, finishing undefeated and outscoring their opponents 8 to 1.

August 2006 - The Academy Red will hold their annual summer team camp August 14-18th. We will compete in two pre-season tournaments, the SYA Cardinal Cup August 19 & 20 and the the Dulles National tournament August 26 & 27 in Herndon.

June 2006 - The Academy Red have finalized the team roster for the fall season. We anxiously await the start of another NCSL season with high expectations for the regular season and the tournaments in which we will participate.

March 2006 - Congratulations to the Academy Red for winning the 2006 Loudoun Soccer Club Icebreaker Tournament in the U-9 Boys flight by scoring 14 goals in 4 games while only giving up 4.
